SCAN discusses its E10 project at United Nations University, Tokyo

On Tuesday 23 October SCAN member Jeremy Farrall was the keynote speaker at a high profile public ‘conversations’ event at the United Nations University in Tokyo. Associate Professor Farrall was interviewed by David Malone, the Rector (i.e. Vice-Chancellor) of United Nations University and Under Secretary-General of the United Nations, about SCAN’s current ARC Discovery Project on the role of elected members in leveraging power and influence on the UN Security Council. The audience of more than 80 people included representatives from government, embassies and international organisations.
